Maybe when I go to college I can start an actual blog… it could be about fitness and health and happiness (like my blog is now I think) but contain only my own posts? I could take photos and write little posts and move into the big girl world of blogging! I could show people that it’s possible to enjoy life in college and enjoy a fit & healthy life, too. !!!!

Anonymous asked: do you have any advice for learning how to love your body? you seem so confident and happy with yourself and i really want to get there some day.

rachaeldee:

just love it. love it all the time. in the same way that you have to train your mind before any kind of performance to quell your nerves from self doubt, train your mind toward positivity. when you start a thought that is self-deprecating, don’t let yourself finish it. just don’t. no one hears it but you and you don’t deserve to hear that.

don’t wear or own clothes you don’t like. wear things that make you feel good and comfortable and beautiful and do not waste any time thinking about how others will perceive you.

know what your body looks like. you only get one perspective - staring straight ahead at a mirror. take a video or self timer photo of yourself dancing to your favourite jam and see how beautiful you look from the angles you don’t get to see.

appreciate what you can do. appreciate your health. be good to yourself. take care of yourself. honour yourself. if you’re breathing and you’re living, your body is doing it right. that’s amazing and give yourself credit.

that’s all i got off the top of my head.

They call me coffee cuz I grind so fine

They call me coffee I keep you up past 2 am

They call me coffee because I’m really bitter and most people don’t like me without changing some aspect of what I am

They call me coffee because I make you have to shit your pants

My parents shut off my phone for punishment

I think that’s fine and all for children

but NOT WHEN I’M ALMOST 20 YEARS OLD AND I DRIVE AND OUT ALL DAY. That’s dumb. Don’t shut my phone off.
